Limited Edition Large 8.75″ Arturo Fuente Porcelain Cigar Ashtray Yellow
This limited edition Arturo Fuente porcelain ashtray combines size and artistry, with an 8.75-inch diameter and four cigar slots, making it perfect for dedicated cigar aficionados. Its artistic finish sets it apart from the more utilitarian Buybox Heavy Glass or ceramic options, adding visual appeal to any lounge. Extra Large Cigar Ashtray with Lid for Outdoors and Indoors, Black
This windproof, rainproof ashtray with a lid is designed for outdoor use, making it stand out for its weather protection and large capacity. Its wide rests support large cigars securely, and the deep bowl reduces frequent cleaning. When compared to the Buybox Heavy Glass or ceramic options, it offers superior protection against the elements, ideal for outdoor patios or bar environments. Its bulkiness might be a concern for small spaces, and regular cleaning is necessary to keep it looking its best. Still, it’s a reliable choice for cigar lovers who want a weather-resistant, large-capacity ashtray.
Pros:- Windproof and rainproof lid
- Large capacity for less frequent emptying
- Supports large cigars securely
Cons:- Bulky for tight spaces
- Requires regular cleaning to prevent buildup
Best for: Outdoor cigar aficionados or lounge owners needing a weatherproof, large-capacity ashtray
Not ideal for: Indoor-only users or those in small spaces who prefer a more discreet or lightweight option

8-inch Round Outdoor Cigar Ashtray with 4 Rest Slots
This porcelain ashtray offers a practical outdoor solution with a sturdy design and four cigar rests. Its 8-inch diameter and deep basin prevent ash spillage, and the wind-resistant lip keeps cigars in place during outdoor use. Compared to the larger, more feature-rich Extra Large Cigar Ashtray with Lid, this model emphasizes simplicity and durability for outdoor settings. While it’s less feature-heavy, its potential for cracks during shipping and limited indoor suitability might limit its appeal for some users. Still, it remains a reliable, easy-to-maintain choice for outdoor cigar areas.
Pros:- Durable porcelain construction
- Deep basin to contain ashes
- Wind-resistant lip for outdoor stability
Cons:- Potential for cracks during shipping
- Limited indoor aesthetic appeal
Best for: Outdoor cigar smokers or venues needing a durable, no-fuss ashtray that resists wind and spills

Rocky Patel Ceramic Black Cigar Ashtray – Heavy-Duty Round Design with 4 Gold Cigar Rests
This ceramic ashtray stands out for combining a sleek, sophisticated look with practical features, making it a top choice for cigar enthusiasts who value style and durability. Its gold accents add a touch of luxury, setting it apart from more utilitarian options like the Buybox Heavy Glass Cigar Ashtray. The deep ash bowl and heat-resistant ceramic material ensure it can withstand frequent use both indoors and outdoors, while the four wide rests securely hold cigars without tipping. However, it’s limited to cigar use only and lacks additional accessories, which might be a drawback for those seeking multifunctionality. Compared to the larger, more casual Extra Large Cigar Ashtray with Lid, this model offers a more refined appearance and a more compact footprint, but it doesn’t provide the same weatherproof features. This pick makes the most sense for those wanting an elegant, durable piece that elevates a cigar lounge or patio aesthetic.
Pros:- Elegant design with gold accents enhances upscale ambiance
- Durable, heat-resistant ceramic withstands frequent use
- Holds four cigars securely with wide rests
Cons:- Limited to cigar use only, no cigarette compatibility

Extra Large Cigar Ashtray with Lid for Outdoors and Indoors – Retro Decor, 1.3” Wide Cigar Rest
This oversized, windproof ashtray excels in outdoor settings where weather resistance is critical. Its large capacity and protective lid make it ideal for patios or outdoor cigar lounges, surpassing the basic stability of the Rocky Patel Ceramic Ashtray. The central lid prevents ashes from blowing away and keeps odors contained, while the deep, rinsable bowl simplifies cleaning. Its vintage, retro design appeals to those with eclectic or classic decor styles, but the heavy oil-treated wood construction also makes it quite weighty and less portable. Unlike the ceramic model, it’s limited to cigar and cigarette use and isn’t suited for minimalistic modern spaces. If you need a weatherproof, large-capacity ashtray with a distinctive retro look, this option fits well, though it sacrifices some portability and modern aesthetics.
Pros:- Windproof and rainproof lid keeps ashes contained and odor in check
- Large capacity reduces frequent cleaning
- Deep bowl is easy to rinse and maintain
- Vintage retro design adds character to decor
Cons:- Heavy due to large size and wooden material
- Limited to cigar and cigarette use, not suitable for other smoking accessories
- Design may not complement sleek, modern decor
Best for: Outdoor enthusiasts or cigar lovers who need a windproof, weather-resistant ashtray with a vintage touch
Not ideal for: Modern minimalist interiors or those seeking lightweight, portable ashtrays for frequent moving
- Brand:OILP
- Material:Oil-treated wood
- Number of Cigar Rests:4
- Capacity:Large
- Windproof:Yes
- Lid:Yes
- Dimensions:1.3 inches wide cigar rest
Our verdict“This ashtray is perfect for outdoor spaces where weather resistance and capacity are priorities, with a stylish vintage flair.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Best Ashtrays For Cigar Lounges Amazon
Choosing the right ashtray for a cigar lounge involves more than just appearance. It’s essential to consider how durable the material is, especially in high-use settings. Size and capacity matter depending on how many cigars are typically smoked at once. Ease of cleaning influences maintenance, while design should complement the lounge’s decor. Finally, additional features like lids or multiple rests can improve user experience but may come with tradeoffs such as size or price. Understanding these factors helps in making a smart purchase that enhances your lounge’s ambiance and functionality.Material and Durability
For high-traffic cigar lounges, durability is non-negotiable. Heavy glass and ceramic are popular choices because they resist heat, impact, and scratches better than plastic or thin materials. Glass options tend to be easier to clean and less prone to staining, but they can be fragile if dropped. Ceramic offers a more upscale look and can be quite durable if made from high-quality materials. Avoid lightweight or cheaply made plastic ashtrays, as they wear out quickly and can detract from a premium lounge environment.
Size and Capacity
The size of an ashtray directly impacts its usability. Larger models with multiple rest slots and high capacity are better suited for busy lounges where several patrons may need to ash simultaneously. Smaller or more compact options work well for personal use or low-traffic areas. Keep in mind that larger ashtrays can be more cumbersome to move and clean, so balance capacity with practicality based on your lounge’s needs.
Design and Aesthetic
Appearance plays a big role in setting the mood of a cigar lounge. Minimalist glass or sleek black ceramic ashtrays tend to fit modern, upscale themes, while decorative or vintage-inspired designs can add character to a more traditional space. Consider how the ashtray’s style complements your decor; a mismatched piece can disrupt the ambiance. Also, look for designs with smooth surfaces and rounded edges to avoid snagging or damage over time.
Features and Convenience
Additional features like lids help contain ash and reduce mess, especially in outdoor or open-air settings. Multiple rest slots enable several users to ash simultaneously, increasing efficiency in busy lounges. Some models include built-in ash catchers or filters to minimize smoke and odor. However, extra features can increase size and cost, so prioritize what genuinely enhances your lounge experience without overcomplicating the design or maintenance.
Price and Value
While high-end ashtrays often boast premium materials and intricate designs, they come at a higher price point. Conversely, budget options may lack durability or style, leading to frequent replacements. The best approach is to identify a model that balances quality with cost, ensuring longevity without overspending. Consider how often the ashtray will be used; investing more in a durable, easy-to-clean piece makes sense for high-traffic environments, while occasional use may justify a more economical choice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose a ceramic or glass ashtray for my lounge?
Choosing between ceramic and glass largely depends on your aesthetic preferences and usage patterns. Ceramic ashtrays tend to be more durable and better suited for outdoor or high-traffic environments because they resist chipping and cracking better if made from high-quality materials. Glass ashtrays, on the other hand, often have a sleek, modern look and are easier to clean, making them ideal for upscale indoor lounges. Both materials can be highly durable if selected carefully, so consider where and how the ashtray will be used most often. How important is size when selecting an ashtray for a cigar lounge?
Size is a key factor because it affects usability and space management. Larger ashtrays with multiple rests are better for busy lounges where several patrons are smoking simultaneously, reducing the need for frequent emptying. Smaller models are more convenient for personal or low-traffic areas but may require more frequent cleaning or emptying. Always match the ashtray size to your lounge’s typical patron volume and available space to prevent clutter or inconvenience. Are lids necessary for outdoor cigar lounge ashtrays?
Lids can be highly beneficial for outdoor settings as they help contain ash, reduce wind-blown debris, and minimize odor. They also prevent rain or dirt from entering the ashtray, maintaining cleanliness and usability. However, lids can add to the overall size and sometimes complicate the design. If your lounge is outdoors or in a windy area, choosing an ashtray with a lid is a smart investment for maintaining a tidy environment. What features should I prioritize for high-traffic cigar lounges?
In busy lounges, prioritize ashtrays with multiple rest slots, large capacity, and durable, easy-to-clean materials. Features like lids or ash catchers can help manage mess and odor, essential for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. Also, choose models with a stable base to prevent tipping. These features collectively support efficient use and help uphold a clean, professional environment. Is it worth investing in a decorative or vintage-style ashtray?
Decorative or vintage-style ashtrays can enhance the lounge’s overall aesthetic, especially if your decor leans toward traditional or luxurious themes. While they may cost more, they often become focal points and contribute significantly to the ambiance. However, ensure that style does not compromise durability or ease of cleaning. In high-traffic environments, prioritize materials and construction quality alongside aesthetic appeal for longevity. Conclusion
For most cigar lounge owners seeking a balance of durability, style, and practicality, the Buybox Heavy Glass Cigar Ashtray offers excellent all-around performance and value. If your priority is a sleek look and easy maintenance, the Large Ceramic Cigar Ashtray – Black makes a compelling choice. For upscale, premium experiences, consider the Limited Edition Arturo Fuente Porcelain Ashtray or the Rocky Patel Ceramic Black Ashtray. Beginners or smaller lounges might find the more compact models sufficient, while high-traffic venues should focus on heavy-duty, feature-rich options. Ultimately, your choice depends on your specific needs, decor style, and usage frequency, but investing in quality ensures a clean, stylish, and functional cigar lounge environment.
